This documentary is telling the story of widows in India.
Widows' life values are tied to their husbands in most Indian views. This attitude continued to be as it is even if the husband died.
India widowed wife had only 3 ways to choose after their husband gone : firstly, sacrifice themselves by leaping into their late husband’s funeral pyre.
Second, become their husband brother's wife, if the family approved.
Lastly, lived by being deprived, cut ties and disdained by family and society.
These women have no way to live despite journeying to an ashram in Nabadwip, the final rescue where these widows can hang on for their life.
