You said it's going to be a niche. Now saying it will have scaling problems.
It can't be both.
I personally think that with the advance of tech combined with protocol improvements (i.e. 80% reduction in tx size with bulletproofs) and eventual layers like ZK Rollups there wont be any scaling problem. Also, what a nice problem to have. Monero becomes so popular it starts having scaling problems.
I think crypto in general will always be relatively niche because most people don't care about sovereignty/liberty.
