Yes, exactly!! Except I believe in humanity, and the main players of bitcoin. We can tell when someone sounds like Vitalik, and we don't follow him! We think for ourselves.
I'm hoping the main (is it node runners?) Participants will just opt out and show that they are real bitcoiners unlike those guys who want to change bitcoin core.
Their whole argument seems like a zero sum game and just as fiat as anything else. Why are they in bitcoin? Because they happened to sneak their way in early. I hope the true bitcoiners who understand real human incentives will prevail. The few have lead the masses for too long. I'm not advocating for democracy, but for consensus. For what is real and true.
