That’s crazy.. If you were using an authenticator, that’s next to impossible..
Seriously, if it were me:
- I would try to get more info from Binance on how this happened, they should have login times, locations, IP addresses.. This may have been an inside job, a Binance breech?
- I wouldn’t trust Binance again, use a whole new company, Strike or Karken pro or anything else. Binance is about to hit some shit anyway
- I wouldn’t trust your authenticator, if someone really hacked your account, they had access to your authenticator, which is very hard.. And your password? Think about who might have that??
- You may have some sort of spyware on your phone or home computer. I would rebuild my phone’s software, reinstall everything manually
- Sorry to say this again, but be VERY glad it was only $250.. It’s a cheap lesson compared to people loosing hundreds of thousands and their life savings, etc. $250 in the big picture is nothing. I’m surprised a hacker would even go to the effort for that.
