My biggest blessing in my #bitcoin journey, was installing a wallet before I signed up for an exchange or understood why I'd use one. The exchange was just a means toward an end: to acquire BTC & custody it.
THEN I recognized that nothing else that we call "money" is designed to be custodied, even though it seems like an obvious requirement...the rest was history.
