Recipe modified from a recipe published from a school cookbook in 1963.
Details
- 🍳 Cook time: 8 to 10 Minutes at 400
- 🍽️ Servings: 3 dozen or so depending on cookie size
Ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 1/2 Cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla (optional but recommended)
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 t. Cream of tartar
- 1 t. Soda
- 1/4 t. Salt
Directions

- Heat over to 400

- Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla thoroughly.

- Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt and blend into mixture.

- Form small dough balls and roll in sugar/cinnamon

- Place each cookie dough ball 2" apart on a cookie sheet
