The other day Musk mocked someone for suggesting that the federal government runs relational databases that you query using SQL.
This guy is supposed to be a tech genius, and he thinks it's absurd that the government uses the same databases that everyone else uses. What does Musk think, that the federal government has built their own relational database server and its own unique domain specific language that isn't SQL?
The federal government is vast and probably leverages every single data storage solution available, and probably a bunch that were retired 20 years ago.
But of course the federal government has databases that you query with SQL. Anyone who works in tech and doesn't know that just because of common sense doesn't know what they're talking about.
And this is not the first time I've heard Musk be really, really ignorant about stuff he claims to be an expert.
This is the guy who's running shit now.
