2025-01-16 21:15:30I've been of the opinion that they will implement the CBDCs when there is some disaster that causes economic collapse. The government will offer handouts (a base income?), but they will only be offered in CBDCs and all businesses will be mandated to accept them. Then once everyone has gotten used to them, they will start banning everything else. Once there is nothing else, then they will implement the social credit scores and turning off your money if you do or say the wrong thing. If they think they can blame the economic problems on "bad actors" then they may skip the transition phase and jump straight to the banning everything else, but I still think they will use the carrot (free money) and stick (you get less/none if you don't do what they say including only using the CBDC). Only time will tell.
