San Antonio, Texas local news actually did some investigative reporting and found that a company called Endeavors (an NGO called out by DOGE) is receiving $18 million/month for an empty illegal migrant shelter.
The contract started in 2021 after a “Biden Transition team member joined the non-profit".
“Government disclosure forms show Endeavor's revenues shot up in 2021 from $50 million to $658 million, reaching a peak of $1.1 billion in 2022”
DOGE and DHS have since terminated this contract.
