2025-04-06 14:08:36Fascinating to learn about the Jains - a religious order totally opposed to violence. The only vocation they were comfortable doing and excelled at was extending mutual credit between trading parties. They made the Silk Road work and long distance trade possible. Not much different than what Bitcoin can do now.
