Ron Paul has advocated a foreign policy that follows the Golden Rule: do to others what you want them to do to you. It's not exactly "do to others as they have done to you," because that's more like taking vengeance. BUT, if you presume that people are following the Rule, then you can do back to them what they are doing to you, because they are indicating to you that is how they also want to be treated, right? 🤔 But there's the rub: people probably AREN'T following the Golden Rule...
