With #Bitcoin soaring to new all-time highs and Bitcoin Treasury companies gaining traction, these are intense times. I’m watching this financial shift with a sharp eye, but my health and the world’s chaos weigh heavily.
I drafted a version of this post last night on the Primal App, but it disappeared. Lesson learned.
My condition is a strange beast, iatrogenic, meaning it was triggered by a medical intervention in 1995 when I was on the brink of death. I hadn’t slept in weeks, my pupils were fully dilated, my body was collapsing, but my mind stayed razor-clear. With no other options, I chose a treatment that saved me but left me with this hidden condition. It evades standard tests and brings unpredictable physiological and mental shifts. Who’d sign up for that? No one, but I had no choice.
One upside is increased blood flow and oxygenation to the brain, which is no small thing. It once pulled me through an Addisonian crisis. I went from standing to sprawled on the floor, barely able to move, hands and feet numb. I crawled to my son’s door (he was 10) and tossed him my phone to call 911. Paramedics arrived fast, but my blood pressure was dire—79/something. After two units of fluids, it crept to 95/75, and tests showed nothing conclusive. That brain boost kept me conscious, but it’s a brutal trade-off.
This condition also sharpens thinking and endurance. The pituitary, hyper-reactive to stress, drives clearer focus. Historical accounts—limited to men, due to a prostate-related quirk in the condition’s onset—describe patients diving into deep philosophical and technical talks, even late in life. It’s like cognitive overdrive. Memory doesn’t improve, but I can juggle complex problems effortlessly, a gift for a data architect/developer. It’s why I saw Bitcoin’s potential early, same with Bitcoin Treasuries. But it also lets me see darker truths others miss.
Take Trump’s assassination attempt—it’s obviously staged. Approach it logically: design a fake attempt to maximize believability without risking the target. You’d need a dead patsy, a minor but visible “injury” not caused by the weapon, a seriously wounded or dead bystander, a perfect photo op, and a follow-up with a loyal doctor, no real evidence required. It’s textbook. This clarity leads to a grim starting point: subsequent moves are calculated to destabilize, challenge governance, and spark unrest. The pattern is unmistakable.
My life feels like a relentless crescendo, each change hitting harder. This condition, the world’s trajectory—it’s a lot. Some say we’re in a Fourth Turning, a cycle of upheaval. I see it clearly, and it’s daunting. Education, stability, even population size could shift drastically in five years. I’m not here to cheerlead or despair; I’m just laying it out.
I’m documenting my journey and planning for my family. It’s what I can do while I’m still here.
