there is only one God
it is a corruption of language to call servants of God (and his enemies) "gods" instead of "angels" "fae" "principles" or other similar words, IMO
the whole logic of why Islam specifies only one God is precisely explained in the Qur'an that if there were more than one authority over this universe they would have to disagree and it would annihilate this universe
playing silly buggers with definitions of words is an error when clarity is useful, where equivocation is useless
we don't speak for no purpose, there is always a purpose, even poetry has a purpose, to convey a thought that does not fit into standard idiom or models
this "wishy washy" "whatever you believe is true" nonsense is a sign that you have been decieved, if you sincerely believe this
it is patently obvious that the words are not the thing, but what is not obvious about the deception is that some words create clouds over your ability to perceive the thing
