I am afraid we think the same of our beloved Beave. The Catholic Church is the one and only visible body of Christ on earth. The one to who God himself gave a promise to lead into all truth and to be with to the close of the age. "And the gates of hell will not prevail against it."
So while I think the world of you, I think you are being blinded to reality by something. Cause you won't be the first to be disappointed by the Church's failure to vanish nor nearly the last.
Till the end of time each new Jonah will sit on a hill watching for the destruction of Ninevah annoyed that God's ways are not their ways.
