2025-06-05 20:46:04Try reading “The Mandibles” by Lionel Shriver….it’s the story of a family trying to survive the collapse of society following a global financial crisis. Probably the second most depressing book I’ve read after “1984”…depressing because they seem to have been happening in real life for some while now and their apocalyptic visions of society are coming true. I grieve for my grandchildren 😔
