INTERIOR: CASA DE LA AMISTAD, 1920s, 406 Avenida Paseo, Vedado, Havana, Cuba 🇨🇺
The mansion was constructed between 1922 and 1926 by Juan Pedro Baró, a wealthy Cuban landowner, as a tribute to his beloved Catalina Lasa, a famously beautiful woman in Havana society.
Juan Pedro commissioned renowned Cuban architects Govantes and Cabarrocas to design this mansion.
The mansion now serves as a cultural venue, housing a restaurant, bar, and cigar shop, and frequently hosts concerts and cultural events.
