On a cold winter night, #Saint Calinic, then a simple monk, found a lost child shivering near the monastery gates. He took the boy in, warmed him with his own clothes, and fed him. When the child's desperate mother arrived, searching frantically, Calinic returned the boy, refusing any reward, saying, "Love for our neighbor is reward enough."
