Yeah I agree, mostly. But it’s the Bitkey slogan of “lose your seed phrase” that send the wrong message. Obviously it’s a marketing gimmick.
But It implies those who have already secured their Bitcoin with a seed can do away with it. Or that it’s not worth learning anymore because “innovation” has made it obsolete. Also doesn’t address the nuances or the fact that afaik, you’re locked into the Bitkey hardware.
That said, I’ve recommended it to a newbie friend to get him off an exchange. Feels like a good first step that’s not intimidating.
