Those who care, are already using gun safety. Those who do not, aren't going to change at the whim of a doctor. Most people can't even take prescriptions right.

While technically not "infringing" on ones right to own fire arms, it still looks like quite the slippery slope to disarming citizens, and instituting a police state (More than we already have)
