#reasoning #truth #argumentation
I just learned about deductive and inductive reasoning.
Seems a important concept to me. While deductive arguments are forcefully true, when they are sound and based on true premises, inductive arguments are no full proof but a general assumption based on a small sample. Therefore it is a good step to get a first grasp. But when one can form a deductive argument, the deductive argument is higher in the hirarchy.
