🚨 February 2025 release of Corny Chat 🌽💬
🌽 Corny Chat is an open source audio space built on Jam that integrates Nostr and Lightning. A publicly running instance of Corny Chat is accessible at https://cornychat.com/. The following enhancements were made during February 2025.
Badges

🆕 A new badge has been created for users who have 'Heard-the-Horn-in-the-Corn'. This is awarded selectively to users whenever Vic and Dank are in the room and the horn is blown.

🆕 Added Room Indicators for active rooms

🆕 Nostr identified users now have warning symbols if using a lightning custodian or nostr address provider that is non-reciprocal, overly large, scammy
🐛 Bugfix to Valentines animations for symbol/text corrections

🆕 Admins may now mark rooms as permanent (to filter from deletion)
🆕 Admins may now purge rooms that havent been accessed in 90 days
🌽 Kicked users now see the reason why they were kicked from a room and who kicked them

🆕 Backend relay pool per write is now configuable
🆕 support for deleting old rooms not accessed in 90 days
