709案维权律师周世峰于2月3日，向北京互联网法院递交起诉状，起诉腾讯公司，指控该公司在去年11月22日永久封禁其微信账号，侵犯了他的通信自由权、人格尊严权和财产权。
周世峰认为，腾讯封禁他微信账号，目的是报复他揭露孙立军、孟建柱政治团伙制造709大抓捕的恶行。他向法院提起五项诉讼，要求解除对其两个微信账号的永久封禁，恢复所有社交场景功能；公开道歉，并在微信平台发布公告，澄清周世锋无任何违规行为；赔偿因账号封禁导致的经济损失及精神损害抚慰金共计人民币十万元以及承担本案全部诉讼费用。
On February 3, Zhou Shifeng, a rights defense lawyer involved in the 709 case, submitted a lawsuit to the Beijing Internet Court against Tencent. He accused the company of permanently banning his WeChat account on November 22 last year, infringing on his rights to communication freedom, personal dignity, and property.
Zhou believes Tencent's ban on his WeChat account was an act of retaliation for exposing the political crimes of Sun Lijun and Meng Jianzhu's faction in orchestrating the mass arrests of the 709 crackdown. He filed five claims in court, including lifting the permanent ban on his two WeChat accounts, restoring all social functions, issuing a public apology and clarification stating Zhou committed no violations on the WeChat platform, compensating for economic losses and emotional distress totaling 100,000 RMB, and covering all litigation costs of this case.
