U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has released a Statement in which he attempt to clarify several Media Stories over the last few days, including Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) access at the DoD, 8% Cuts coming to the Annual Defense Budget, and the removal of Probationary Employees from the DoD.
