Isn't a no. I am not saying topics are out of bounds for investigation, I am saying that I am likely to be incorrect while doing so. That doesn't mean give up, but it is nice to have the faculty of faith to allow me to function in the meantime.
For those less gifted with reason, they need to learn more heavily on trust and faith. That too is a gift. Trust allows the weak to be strong, the simple can indeed know things that confound the wise, but they are unlikely to get there on their own. They listen, hear, and believe.
