Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee said when asked about Trump's new actions Friday morning. "Over the longer run, if they're putting in place tariffs that have a stagflationary impact … then that's the central bank's worst situation." 🇺🇸 What’s is even more surprising is that the Trump Administration seems to have no idea that they seem to be sending the US economy to stagflation. In addition to higher prices from tariffs the Trump Administration’s spending bill that is currently in the Senate quite dramatically increases federal debt which will also increase prices via inflation.
