As an alternative, you could try editing your bookmarks from elsewhere. For example, from the Bookmarks Panel or Bookmarks Manager. Also, if you select "Edit" from the bookmark's right-click context menu on the Bookmarks Bar or Bookmarks Menu, you'll get a dialog that looks a bit different.
