Joseph, born in Macedonia, felt a deep calling early in life. He joined Partoș Monastery and was later chosen as Metropolitan of Timișoara. Despite his high position, he lived humbly, known for his kindness and generosity to the poor. A story tells of a time when a severe drought plagued the region. Joseph led the people in fervent prayer, and a life-giving rain arrived, saving them from famine. Let us pray that, like Joseph, we may be instruments of divine grace, bringing hope and relief to those in need.
