Thousands of years ago, God called a man named Abram to leave his home and move to a new land. He promised to make Abram into a great nation, and from him a savior would come to defeat sin and death. These people, the Jews, were to be God’s people, but God always loved the rest of mankind (the gentiles), too. Jesus died for everyone, and everyone is clean who calls on Jesus.
