Karl Marx was a Hegelian. Hegel's entire philosophy was built on the illogic of a megalomaniac solipsism. I look at the existence and ask "why?" Hegel looked at existence and thought "I hate this, I should have more control, and I will because I am God."
Every Hegelian mystic thought this way. It was very pervasive amongst German intellectuals and gave rise to National Socialism. It gave rise to Marxism and Marxism to Italian Fascism and then to modern cultural Marxism.
