2025-01-17 19:21:00All I know about NixOS is that it is some flavour of linux and is yet-another-packaging-target. SDL was written by my old friend Slouken from UC Davis, but that was back in the early/mid 90's written for porting Maelstrom and I haven't spoken to him since I was at UC Davis so this is really just trivia. Cursor weirdness is more like something I might be able to understand, but I haven't had any. The only cursor is inside of text fields like the compose box. What kind of weirdness do you notice? You don't have to call it from the command line. Most operating systems have ways to link programs to launchers. But i recommend launching a terminal and running it in the terminal so you can see the terminal output.
