Pasicrat and Valentin, Roman soldiers and brothers, were moved by the miracles and faith of St. Julius the Veteran. Witnessing Julius's steadfast belief during torture, they converted to Christianity, declaring, "Great is the God of the Christians!" They renounced their military service, destroyed their military belts, and distributed their possessions to the poor. Arrested and brought before the tribunal, they refused to deny Christ, enduring severe beatings and ultimately beheading.
