The city of Al Ain witnessed the launch of the Manufacturers job exhibition yesterday, which provides more than 500 job opportunities for job seekers and those registered in Nafis. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, Nafis, and Adnoc. H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, visited the exhibition, which showcases job opportunities available to residents of the Al Ain region, aiming to align expansion plans and future projects with expected job requirements over the next five years. The jobs on offer include various specializations targeting high school diplomas, diplomas, and bachelor's degrees. Omar Al Sweidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, stated that the exhibition is part of the ministry's strategy to enhance the industrial sector's contribution to the national GDP, highlighting that Emiratization is a key pillar in this strategy. He added that the exhibition features 23 participating companies, which together offer 500 job opportunities in various fields, and that this edition is the first to be held in Al Ain, with future editions to follow. On the other hand, Ali Ahmed Al Fouladi, Deputy CEO of Procurement and Local Value Added at Adnoc, said: "Adnoc is proud to be participating in the Manufacturers job exhibition, as our participation is part of Adnoc's efforts to enhance national content, where we work to empower national talents by providing quality direct and indirect jobs within Adnoc's supply chain." He added that Adnoc, through its strategic partnerships with the public and private sectors, aims to provide more opportunities for Emirati citizens and ensure their effective participation in the country's economic growth, and that the Adnoc program to enhance national content has succeeded since its launch in 2018 in providing 17,000 job opportunities for talents in the private sector, reflecting the company's commitment to contributing to economic growth and developing human capital.
