childhood
There were good moments I treasure, but the bad I won't share. You might, then, think that sums up my writing.
It doesn’t.
As much as childhood events influence my writing, so too do that child’s dreams of happiness, & an adult’s reflections on both.
Childhood’s poignant reality spawned imagination’s wanderings into righteous, heartwarming promise as I became the opposite of those who victimized a child.
I use it all.
