You sound like my kind of customer in terms of appreciation of a good job.
Sanding is an interesting one. I understand there are limits to prep on a tight price, but even then, with the sanders and abrasives at our disposal nowadays even a "quick flick over" still delivers quite impressive results.
Since adopting Mirka sanders and Abranet abrasives, or Festool plus granit, around 2010, standards have shot up. Even the manual Mirka starter kit sanding blocks are streets ahead of anything conventional.
Any idea what kit painters in your área use?
