Anyone that bought MSTY when the fund came out instead of Bitcoin and put the distributions into Bitcoin has more Bitcoin today than they would have otherwise.
This is not shot at Bitcoin or a recommendation to go buy MSTY. I’m also not claiming that you will have the same performance if you buy MSTY today.
This is a recognition of the spectacular performance of a product designed to generate income by selling the volatility on MSTR, which is powered by Bitcoin.
Anyone that listened to Strategy’s earnings call last week and understood what was said is bullish on products like MSTY and IMST for the foreseeable future.
If you’re selling Bitcoin for income, you owe it to yourself to analyze these products. You may still decide it’s not for you. But, if you fade these products because the mantras and ideology have rotted your brain, then you’re no different than Microsoft voting NO on the proposition to research Bitcoin as a possible asset to hold on the balance sheet.
