yeah, i'm very inclined to go with the real food
250g of shucked shellfish frozen is 2.2 eur and is good for a day, his usual food somewhere between 1.5 and 2.4 depending on which i get, but none of these foods have chewy bits in them, and actually, i think he would get more chew action if i gave him chunks of spit roasted beef, 200g of that for a day i bet he'd basically not be hungry most of the rest of the day
i'm gonna explore it... there is also cod fish there, which is also quite cheap
i am on an island, and there is a huge fishing industry here... i'm pretty sure that most of the time the lights i see out in the ocean are from fishing vessels mostly long lines... the ocean fool is very far down very quickly around here, so we have cod and other deep sea stuff right on our doorstep
