Actually I don't want to buy a console if I have to promise not to alter it. I don't want to buy physical game media if it contains only a key to use the game from an online server.
Maybe that's why I'm so free when you and so many others seem to be dealing with problems. The way I see it, the biggest problem with the gaming industry is how many players like you want to go crying to daddy government that you can't play bideo gaem, and how so many of you are willing to put on a chastity cage and do business with someone who clearly doesn't respect you just because you can't imagine a world where for 5 entire seconds you aren't consooming THIS SPECIFIC media.
The video game industry is what every individual gamer makes it for themselves.
