What you are seeing is the flip side of the "Obama never had any scandals" narrative.
The narrative was driven by the press firefighting for the liberals since forever. Then the narrative that "democracy is under attack" for whatever is done by a conservative.
I reject the narrative.
Whats happening now is not "TEOTWAWKI." Whats happening now is a global reset, a necessary one. And IMO beneficial for the US long term.
There will be pain short term. But that was always going to be the case.
The dollar still probably cannot be saved, but that ship sailed back in 2008. So the Bessent/Trump solution to this will be the most interesting thing that comes out of this.
I'm optimistic.
