Residents of Akalia Kalan, a village in India’s Punjab state, report that an unidentified aircraft crashed into a nearby field around 2:00 a.m. this morning, resulting in the death of a farm laborer and injuries to several others. The Indian Air Force has secured the crash site, though the type of aircraft remains unconfirmed. Locals speculate it may have been an IAF Rafale or Mirage 2000.
