It's the same at least in Sweden. I even heard of a pastor's kid who thought that living together was a good way to know if it would work out to marry the person. My brother confronted this lie, and the teens he was talking to didn't seem to have even heard that it was a bad idea. I think that his parents spoke against it if he shared his thoughts with them, and when him and his girlfriend moved to the south, they did start off not living together, but I'm not sure how long that lasted. They did actually end up getting married, so at least that was good, but yeah, it grieves me that it seems lost and fully accepted. Like people don't wanna have the conversation if they notice someone making bad choices.
