And can't US non-participation in further arms support to Ukraine be seen as a neutral position?
I mean - I understand that with some level of personal involvement, you can see it as meaning that as long as they don't actively support your side, they are the enemy - I can understand this point of view, in same basic emotional level.
But the question for me is to what extent, when viewed from a distance, this perception makes sense - if we look at the thing as an enemy/neutral/enemy principle.
If the US has never explicitly made any pledges of support to the UA, it could also be seen as just stepping into a neutral position, like any other country that doesn't support either side in a conflict.
Or do you just see it in that polarity - "who is not actively with you is against you" ?
