Venerable Dometie, a beacon of mercy, lived in the Romanian village of Râmeț. One harsh winter, a starving family sought refuge at the monastery. The stores were depleted. Dometie, without hesitation, offered his own meager portion of bread and beans, trusting in God's provision. Miraculously, the food multiplied, feeding all in need. The humble monk taught the villagers about Christ, while his healing prayers and deep compassion transformed hearts, and established a wellspring of faith that continues today.
