Interesting report. Bitcoin adoption there isn’t actually that advanced. People still use and need fiat cash. It's partly because of the intellectual barrier, but also because of fiat Bitcoiners. Because instead of helping things move forward in the right direction, these fiat Bitcoiner tourists from the West are hodling their stack and spending cash instead. While at the same time driving up property prices there.
Honestly, these fiat Bitcoiners mess everything up, even a local grassroots movement like in El Salvador where Bitcoin is a legally recognized currency.
