It was fun to watch, i was worried they’d portray Jack as the villain but the didn’t seem to do that, in this episode at least. And yeah, Ev… I’ll let others tell that story, just pointing out that he did the same thing at Blogger, Twitter, and Medium.
Ok, I’ve tried really hard to be polite and nice about it, but i will say something, Ev promised us that our stock options would be honored then did an asset sale that effectively left the early employees and angel investors with nothing. Sometime around a decade after twitter launched, i got a check for $1200… pretty shit for stock options which were on paper worth 1.4% of the company. That was 100% Ev’s doing.
