True. If we could see more real life examples how bitcoin is being used for paradigm shifting projects and elevation of human kind (education, new decentralized communities,etc), not just personal gain - that would shift things and position bitcoin as a true revolution and what governments are trying to make of it would be irrelevant. I believe this was the original idea behind new forms like bitcoin. But even if those who own it just hoard it, waiting for value to increase, then it makes sense that governments are treating it as gold. It's what happens when you keep bringing outdated paradigms in a future waiting to be written.
