The Gederah Local Council is opening its gates and inviting to the first-of-its-kind Turmus Festival in the moshav, which will take place over three Friday days, starting from the end of February (February 28, March 7, and March 14). The festival will be held at Tel Katera (entrance from Gan Yehuda Mori, Shabtai Yisrael Street) and will feature activities for the whole family, guided tours at the top of the tel, photography workshops, food and drink stalls, music, and more. Free guided tours will take place from the observation point at Tel Katera (Coral Lookout) at 10:00, 10:30, and 11:30, with a photography workshop by 'Gederah Photography Club' at 12:00. During the festival days, additional activities will be available throughout Gederah: free guided tours will take place at the Gederah Museum at 10:00 and 11:00, and the historic Biluim Street will host a street festival featuring the best local artists and businesses, children's activities, and more.
