We don't need a "Bitcoin 2" and never will.
BOS will let you move your bitcoin - real bitcoin - to Solana without intermediaries, and to other smart contract chains like Cardano and Ethereum.
We could also have an unchained, programmable BTC token capable of doing all the fancy stuff.
BOS is the permissionless upgrade that will let old-fashioned BTC forever improve as money. We don't need another hardfork, or another token with immense tradeoffs, to be another money.
