Born in the 17th century, Venerable Theodora of Sihla fled the world's temptations, finding refuge in the forests of Carpathia. She lived a life of extreme asceticism, enduring harsh weather and surviving on wild plants. Legend says she lived for decades in a cave, visited only by wild animals that she befriended. Before her death, she was given Holy Communion by a hermit. She is venerated for her profound faith and unwavering dedication to God. Saint Theodora, pray to God for us!
