so you applied foam to the doors ?
foam is only intended to reduce REFLECTION of sound.
if you want to reduce transmission through a thin / light / flimsy panel you can add mass to the panel in any form, or you can damp the panel with something like dynamat.
but be advised that if you cover the doors with foam or any foam like material you will trap the heat of the server in the closet.
so ideally you would just use a heavy, sound insulating but not heat insulating door, for example a thick glass door ( like 1/2 inch thick ). and you would put foam elsewhere in the closet ( not on the door ) to absorb the noise inside the closet.
