It might not be so difficult to stand out if the entire smartphone industry didn't have a seemingly inexplicable devotion to the non-removable battery platform.
They'd rather give us 33,000 mAh bricks or 120W fast-charging than return us to the days of being able to swap out our phone's dead battery for a fresh one - a standard feature in something as low-end as a $16 Baofeng radio.
Is it because the ability to remove the phone's battery might make it possible to avoid 24/7 tracking by big tech/big govt?
